Herold Solingen Stagenpaste paste for use with leather strops. Compounds enhance the cutting ability of leather strops to quickly get an edge to hair cutting sharp. Solid blocks of paste come wrapped in foil.

The Herold - Solingen Pastes are soft and buttery. They spread onto a strop surface with ease. Simply rub the stick on the surface like a crayon. A little goes a long way, so though small, these sticks will last some time.

The Green Paste from Herold - Solingen is their coarse grit stropping paste. With abrasive particles of about 6 microns in size, it is coarser than the Red Paste. It is great for bringing a slightly dull edge back to sharpness. Follow the Green Paste with the Red Paste and then stropping on plain leather to finish the job. Or, if you have the Red/Black Paste Set, use the Red Paste followed by the Black Paste and then plain leather for the smoothest of transitions.
